Serving and securing the site may involve processing technical request information, including IP addresses, requested URLs, browser information and request times. Google Analytics and your choice
Google Analytics is off until the Google consent message records your permission for analytics storage. Its Google tag does not load before that choice. Refusing analytics does not affect access to this guide. Off — consent is required.
After acceptance, Google processes page views, engagement, browser and device information, successful calculator submissions (calculator type only), comparison actions (number of selected cars only) and external-link clicks (destination hostname only). We do not send your entered prices, mileage, registration dates, calculated results or search text as event parameters. Page-view URLs omit query strings and full referring paths. Google receives technical request information to provide Analytics; see how Google uses information from partner sites.
Analytics uses this site’s _ga and _ga_* cookies for up to 180 days. The Analytics account keeps user and event data for two months without resetting retention on new activity; aggregated standard reports have separate retention behaviour. Google signals, user-provided data and Analytics advertising personalisation are disabled. Google may process data outside the UK using the safeguards described in its privacy information.
